Today we are welcoming the first week of May with a smile. Unfortunately, due to COVID19 it has not been the cheeriest year so far however things are on the up and will not be “locked down” forever!
As it is national smile month, we have been playing around with a few apps that do just that as well as provide you with lots of laughs and fun. There is plenty online to keep people entertained and here are a few of our favourites.
Think charades with a twist! This game really encompasses the fun and frustration of the beloved classic with some very interesting categories to choose from. Whether you goof about as a monkey or act it out as John Travolta, this game will keep you and your party entertained for hours. Whilst its free to download and play, there are premium categories that you would need to pay for however it is not a deal breaker as there is plenty to do. This game will have you all laughing and smiling within no time and the great thing about it is that you can re-watch the memory as the game can record and playback your rounds. Try it for yourself!
Have you ever wondered how you would look as you get older? Well, this app allows you to explore multiple ways to change our face including filters that allow you look older, switch to the opposite sex, have a massive beard, or even gain weight. There are premium features that you can unlock for a fee however it is not necessary as there are plenty of options to choose from. As it is National smile month, take advantage of the fake smile filter and show off those pearly whites!
This app can give you endless fun and really does what it says on the branding. This app allows you to reface yourself in scenarios such as an acting scene in Game of Thrones or as a musician/celebrity like Cardi B. You can also reface multiple people at the same time which allows you and another to participate. The best bit about this app is that you have the option to download these short videos which can be great to cause a few laughs on social media as well as make entertaining personal GIFs, pictures, or videos that you can use to text your friends and family. This app is free to use however there is a premium option to give you more chances to reface yourself and remove the ads but do not feel you need to do this as there is plenty of fun to be had on the free version.
All three of these apps are bound to make someone you know laugh or smile and I think now more than ever it is a vital time to spread positivity and happiness to others as well as ourselves. Due to the pandemic mental health has been on the decline for many. These suggestions are not much but hopefully using one of these suggested apps may just brighten up someone’s day!
