Some of the Pluss Positive People team in Torbay have recently been getting crafty to help a local charity.
A group of their lovely peers kindly gave up their time to paint some stones for Hector’s House Cat Rescue to sell at their fundraising events at Dunelm Mill, in order to help them raise more vital funds for the amazing work they do with helping stray cats.
Peer Support Coordinator for Positive People at Torbay Community Development Trust, Helen Ambler, said about the day: “We were involved in raising over £4000 and a couple of our peers volunteered at the actual events for the much needed charity too, which was very rewarding and vital to help the charity raise more funds.
“It was a lovely day with everyone getting involved to help out and paint stones for such a good cause”.
