Steps To Success (online course)

Are you ready for some uplifting, informative, empowering and life changing workshops this Autumn?

Then join the Pluss’ Positive People team in Somerset, along with a host of partners, to build those steps to succeeding in your life by boosting your confidence, improving your digital skills and sharing budgeting tips.

This is a fully funded, seven-week, online course – available to anyone 18+, out of work and living in Somerset.

With the help of our partners we will look at digital skills, cooking on a budget, confidence-building, empowerment, financial advice, and lots more.

Dates: Wednesdays from the 7th September.

Join the Health Works for Cornwall team for a digital wellbeing walk at Heartlands, Pool.

  • Meet new people with similar interests 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
  • Bridge the gap between fantasy and reality using popular mobile gaming apps such as Pokemon Go, Jurassic World Alive and Pikmin Bloom 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
  • Practice communication and team working skills while balancing wellbeing 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

This fully-funded event is available to individuals who are 16+, currently unemployed and looking to improve either their physical or mental health.

Entry Level Essential Digital Skills Qualification

This four-day, fully-funded, face-to-face course is being delivered by Cornwall Marine Network, a partner organisation of Pluss’ Positive People Cornwall.

It’s an interactive and accredited course for participants who want to learn basic digital skills.

The course will look at online safety, internet skills, using and editing documents and much more, to encourage those less confident to feel safe online.

The internet is key for day to day life as we use it for so many things, from booking GP appointments to ordering the weekly groceries.

This fully-funded course is available to anyone who lives in Looe and the surrounding area, is aged 18+ and currently not in paid employment.
