Enjoy some fresh air with the Pluss’ Positive People team at Torbay Community Development Trust.

Where: Meet at the fountain by the Pavilions in Torquay.
When: Fridays 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November, 10am – 11.30am

It’s recommended you bring along a hot drink/water bottle, sun or rain protection (weather depending),  and a small backpack.

Here’s an opportunity for you to volunteer, as part of the Pluss’ Health Works for Cornwall team and Truro Countryside Rangers to get out and enjoy some of Cornwall’s lovely woodland, whilst boosting your wellbeing and helping to reach goals.

This takes place each Tuesday afternoon at Coosebean Woodland in Truro, under the expert guidance of Truro City Countryside Rangers.

🌳 Help to keep Coosebean Woodland safe and ‘enchanting’

🌳 Meet with others from your local community

🌳 Enjoy personalised support, working at your own pace

🌳 Indoor woodland craft and woodwork sessions (every other week)

🌳 Gain transferable work skills and boost confidence

🌳 Improve your wellbeing and reach your goals

We can even help new volunteers by supplying wet weather gear if needed.

Join the Health Works for Cornwall team for a couple of hours of Manga in Coosebean Woods.

  • Meet new people with similar interests
  • Use character building to creative positive self-image
  • Gain confidence and increase motivation
  • Get creative in natural surroundings while focusing on wellbeing

This fully-funded event is available to individuals who are 16+, currently unemployed and looking to improve either their physical or mental health.
