Motivation Online Workshop

Do you struggle to stay motivated? Can you manage setbacks positively? This may be the workshop for you!

Organised by the Pluss teams at Torbay Community Development Trust, and written and delivered by peers, this two hour, online workshop will cover:

♥ What is motivation?

♥ How to set achievable goals and succeed in forming new habits

♥ Nine pillars of motivation

♥ Self-care boxes

Menopause Self Care (Online)

Join the Pluss’ Health Works for Cornwall team for a two-part, fully-funded**, online course for women experiencing, or approaching, perimenopause/menopause about ‘The Change’ and the second half of life.

♥ Begin to understand the opportunities and challenges that can happen during this time of life

♥ Learn how to support yourself and ask for what’s needed from others eg family, GP, work colleagues

♥ Receive help to create a short-term ‘Conscious Self Care’ action plan

Individual follow up support with a Menopause Self Care specialist is viable for up to six months, with ongoing wraparound assistance for life and work goals with Pluss Health Works for Cornwall.

Building Better Habits

Habits are essential to our physical and mental wellbeing.

In this Zoom online course, we will take a look at how to foster positive habits and break the pattern of bad ones.

Boost your personal awesomeness with these four, fully-funded* self development online workshops delivered by Sue Haswell and peer trainers for Pluss’ Positive People through Torbay Community Development Trust.

Emotional Regulation: Understand how to choose the emotion YOU want, to achieve calm or excitement.

Thursday 10th November, 10am-12.30pm
Communications & Learning: Learn how to communicate vetter and make the most of learning opportunities.

Behaviour: What motivates you? What causes you stress? Find out and then choose your behaviour to get the best results.

Emotional Intelligence: Learning how to improve our EQ (like IQ for intelligence but even better!)
