Rachel is 23 years old and lives in Dorchester. She is currently being supported by Pluss, in partnership with Dorset Council, through Dorset Supported Employment Services.
Rachel was bullied at school, and her Dyslexia and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) went largely undiagnosed in her early years.
In an environment where she was told she probably wouldn’t be able to manage – and despite her own anxieties – Rachel was determined to go on to further education.
It was absolutely the right thing to do, as you’ll hear as she relates, in her own words, and shares her pride in proving the doubters wrong!
